Self talk. Ya! You are in charge of writing that script, so take charge. Next time you have those negative self thoughts going through your head, write them down. Ask yourself : “Do I agree with that?” If no, let it go. If yes, take some action with it. Make the changes that are appropriate. You’d never let your best friend speak to him or herself that way, so why would you tolerate it within you? Engage yourself, be your greatest ally and write the script in your self talk that supports you.
